Winter School “New trends in the development of management and marketing in modern realities”

Under this name, the international winter school was held by the Department of Management and Marketing at the M. Auezov SCU from 01/15/2024 to 01/27/2024.

The international winter school “Auezov University - 2024” was intended for students of all educational programs, since the basic elements of management and marketing are applied in all areas of the economy and society.

The main goal of the winter school was -Increasing the level of training of a future specialist at a university, as a unified educational, research and production complex, through the formation of basic research competencies in students necessary for future professional activities.

The task was -Support and assistance in involving students at different levels of education in conducting research; formation of a responsible worldview and active life position.

The winter school allowed students to:

- learn new trends in management and marketing development

-acquire skills of independent theoretical and experimental work

- use modern methods of scientific research

-get acquainted with teaching methods that are necessary to increase the interactivity of lectures and seminars

- develop abilities for scientific creativity, independence and initiative

Also, the international winter school “AuezovUniversity - 2024” was aimed at implementing the following main sustainable development goals (SDGs) through the UN:

- Quality education (SDG 4)

- Decent work and economic growth (SDG 8)

- Industry, innovation and infrastructure (SDG 9)

- Sustainable consumption and production (SDG 12)

- Partnerships for Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 17)

The mechanism of the program: students master in the process of training according to the curriculum methods, techniques and skills for performing research work.

The main principle of the School: Comprehensiveness, which involves the integration of educational and research processes, as well as the synthesis of theoretical and practical training with obtaining specific results

The winter school was attended by 50 speakers from 7 countries (Kazakhstan, Turkey, Poland, Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Uzbekistan) and more than 350 listeners

It is necessary to highlight the following scientific reports that are of an applied nature:Management development in Kazakhstan: problems, features, recommendations;Analysis and risk management of the company’s business processes;Realizing the opportunities of the green economy; Trends in the development of marketing in the digital economy;A medal, a carrot, a stick lead the team to the goal; The role of audit in the economy, why it is needed and why you should not be afraid of it.

All reviewed reports are relevant, reflect trends in the development of management and marketing and have a practical direction
