International Scientific-Practical Conference titled “The Importance of the ‘Adal adam’ Paradigm

On October 18, 2024, at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University, the Faculty of Law and the Department of Philosophy organized an International Scientific-Practical Conference titled “The Importance of the ‘Adal adam’ Paradigm in the Context of Building a Just Kazakhstan.” The conference was dedicated to the 70th anniversary and commemoration of Professor, philosopher, and scholar Tileugali Amangaliuly Suleimenov from the Department of Philosophy at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University.

The main goal of the conference was to emphasize the relevance of spiritual, moral, and ethical values in the transformation of social consciousness. Leading experts, scholars, intellectuals, and faculty members from Kazakhstan, Russia, and Uzbekistan, as well as students from the Department of Philosophy at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University, participated in the event.

During the plenary session, several heartfelt speeches and significant presentations were made, commemorating the legacy of Professor Suleimenov. For instance, Professor G.T. Telebayev from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University delivered a talk titled “On Tileugali Suleimenov: The ‘Philosophical Iceberg,’” Director of the Philosophy Center at the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science, and Religious Studies S.E. Nurmuratov presented on “The ‘Adal adam’ Paradigm and the Problem of Personality,” Professor D.S. Raev discussed “Morality is a civil peace,” and Professor N.O. Safarova from Navoi State Pedagogical Institute shared her insights on “The Honest Person as a Moral Value in Society.” Additionally, Professor Sh.A. Madaeva from Uzbekistan’s Ulugbek State University spoke about “The Role of Central Asian Intellectuals in Shaping Historical Memory and Regional Unity.”

One of the highlights of the conference was the presentation of a commemorative book titled Esteemed Scholar-Teacher, authored by M.T. Suleimenov, S.E. Nurmuratov, and L.A. Askar. The conference concluded at a high level, achieving its set goals.
