The winter school was held from 01/15/2024 to 01/25/2024 in online/offline format.
On the opening day of the winter school, a video about the Higher School of Management and Business was shown.
The opening speech was given to the dean of the Higher School of Management and Business, M.K. Seidakhmetov and Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of Economics Niyazbekova R.K. The purpose of the winter school is to support and assist in attracting students to conduct research; formation of an active life position.
Then, the head of the department, Tulemetova A.S., noted that the purpose of the school is: expansion and management of international relations, in-depth study on the topic of the winter school. The main task: support and assistance in attracting students of different levels of education to conduct research; formation of a responsible worldview.
As a result of participation in the winter school, students will become familiar with new trends in sustainable economic development; have the skills of independent theoretical and experimental work; will be able to use modern methods of scientific research and develop abilities for scientific creativity, independence and initiative.
Tulemetova A.S. introduced all listeners to the program and speakers of the winter school and provided welcoming words:
- Professor Rae Kwon Chung is Nobel laureate, Chairman of the Rae Kwon Chung Center for a New Climate Economy and Sustainable Development;
- Professor Mustafa Nursoy is from Mugla Sitki Kochman University, Mugla, Türkiye;
- Professor Mavlut Gul is from University of Isparta, Türkiye;
- Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Irisbekova Mavluda Narinbaevna is from Tashkent State Transport University;
- Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Elena Gennadievna Popkova is from Peoples' Friendship University of Russia named after Patrice Lumumba.
During the winter school, the teaching staff of the Higher School, schoolchildren, undergraduates and doctoral students took an active part.
At the conclusion of the winter school, the head of the Department of Economics, Tulemetova A.S. thanked all the guests - participants, teachers, doctoral students, master's students, students and schoolchildren for their active participation and expressed deep gratitude to the leadership of M. Auezov SKU, Center for the Bologna Process and Academic Mobility for organizing the winter school. Special thanks to all the winter school speakers, lecturers, whose lectures aroused genuine interest and a huge number of questions, the team of the highest professionals who came together to share their knowledge, discuss and find ways to solve pressing problems in the field of green economy and sustainable economic development. Speakers and participants of the winter school also expressed gratitude to the organizers, because all the topics discussed within the framework of the winter school were relevant and aroused great interest among the participants.
