From October 26 to October 29, the Third Nobel Fest “The future is already today: the century of innovation” is taking place.

Today, on October 26, at the Fest opening, Kozhamzharova Dariya Perneshovna, the rector of M. Auezov SKU, has made an opening speech.

In her speech, she emphasized the importance and globality of the event: “The topic of the Third Nobel Fest “The future is today: the century of innovation” directly reflects the mission of our country’s universities and education in general. The Nobel Fest has become the pride of Kazakhstan and an example of national leadership that has united scientific minds for a breakthrough into the world educational space”.

“In 2020, M. Auezov SKU became one of the first universities in the country that stood at the origins of the Fest. We are proud to be a strategic partner of the Nobel Fest for the third time!” – noted the rector of the university.

Participation in such global events increases the competitiveness of universities, which is the main task of the New National Project “Quality Education “Educated Nation”. The university today is the Center of Academic Excellence in the southern region, as an innovative university of the Third Metropolis of Shymkent, where a research ecosystem is being created according to “The city of science” model.

Last year, the university received an award in the category “Leader of Science – 2020”, 10 scientists entered the TOP of the most published in Kazakhstan, which contributed to motivating us in such a large-scale project as the Nobel Fest.

In the previous fest, 7 university scientists acted as session speakers. Today, at the Third Fest, our scientists are already acting as moderators of the Nobel laureates.

“I am confident that the Nobel Fest will open up new ways for scientific collaboration of our scientists in the post-pandemic period, when universities have received new opportunities for breakthrough development of science and increased competitiveness. I wish you all a productive dialogue, new discoveries and achievements!” – with such a message Kozhamzharova Dariya Perneshovna, the rector of M. Auezov SKU, addressed to the participants.
